Lesson plans, reports, classroom organisation and CPD can easily take over your day, with many staff working into the evening and weekends. 

Try to create a strict schedule and stick to it. Break away from your old routines, limit yourself to the amoutn of additional time you are spending on activities, and focus on prioritising. 

Boundaries are key, both at home and at work.

Teacher planners, filo -axes, notebooks - all can be useful but overwhelming. There are a wide range of apps available that can help you organisae and structure your time, and streamline some of your activity. 

A lot of edducations taff are now also using AI more and more to help with lesson planning, resource creation - don;t be afraid of trying something new.

Youa re not on your own. Your colleagues will be feeling the same as you, and the old saying of "2 brains are better than one" is really true. Can you split your planning? Are you working closely with your TA? Are you spending all your time at meeitngs? Could you appoint a rep from each year group and rotate the attendance so that you can free up some of your time.
